Morning habits

I find it funny that sometimes we start a routine and it’s hard to change the order of the things, or even what you do. Well, in the mornings, I’m not going to lie to you , guys, saying that I get up everyday super happy and excited… cuz I’m definitelly not like that hahah To be honest I tend to be more lazy, I get up easily, but I need a lot of time to really wake up! hahah So, everyday in the mornings, I have a necessity to drink something with caffeine to push my energy levels up, it can be coffee, cappuccino or moccaccino ( my favourite one 😉 ), and while I drink it, I  take my time to read magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire or Glamour. And as I only study at night, my “mornings” are long, I take at least  half an hour of my day to enjoy my breakfast, until I get excited and  cheered up to go to the gym. I love having this kind of ritual, cuz it makes me relaxed and with a better mood. What about you, do you have any habit, routine that you find hard to change?

Acho engraçado que às vezes começamos uma rotina e é muito difícil mudar a ordem, ou mesmo aquilo que você faz. Bom, eu de manhã,não vou mentir pra vocês dizendo que eu acordo super animada e feliz… porque eu definitavamente não sou hahaha Pra ser bem sincera, tendo a ser mais pra preguiçosa, eu levanto facilmente ,mas preciso de um tempo beeem grande pra realmente acordar! Então, toda manhã eu tenho a necessidade de tomar algo com cafeína pra me manter mais elétrica, pode ser café, cappuccino ou moccaccino ( meu preferido 😉 ), e enquanto eu o tomo,aproveito pra ficar lendo revistas como a Vogue, Marie Claire ou Glamour. Como eu estudo só à noite, minhas “manhãs” são realmente longas, então quando eu começo a ler, fico ao menos uma meia hora aproveitando meu café da manhã, até eu me animar e  criar coragem pra ir pra academia. Adoro ter esse ritual, porque ele me faz ficar relaxada e com um humor melhor. E vocês ,  tem alguma mania, rotina que é díficil de mudar?

Sudden change

And then the cold wave stroke the town! This is exactly what happened yesterday, after a week or so of hot and breeze days, which in fact made me think that I wouldn’t be able to wear my new winter gloves, hats and scarfs, but no I was wrong, more wrong than I could imagine. Beside that I was able wear an warm outfit, but nothing that required a lot of layers as I  was going to the mall and the temperature there is always a good one.
Guess which one was the first piece of clothing that I chose ? The scarf! I boutgh it recently and it has this kind of vintage aspect with the USA flag,well, summarizing: I liked it a lot. So, based on the scarf, I decided to wear brown as the main colour and wore red as some spots of colours in the accessories.
Well,now, my big requests of the day are hot drinks, such as hot chocolate, coffee, cappuccinos and the delicious Caramel Machiatto that I had at Starbucks yesterday.

E então a onda de frio atingiu a cidade! Foi exatamente isso que aconteceu ontem, depois de uma semana mais ou menos de dias quentes e frescos, o que na verdade me fez achar que eu não conseguiria usar minhas novas luvas, chapéis e lenços de  inverno, mas não, eu estava errada, mais errada do que eu imaginava. Apesar disso eu pude usar um look quente, mas nada que exigisse muitas camadas de roupas porque eu estava indo ao shopping e a temperatura sempre é boa lá.
Adivinhem só qual foi a primeira peça que eu escolhi? O lenço! Comprei recentemente e ele tem um aspecto meio antiguinho com a bandeira dos EUA, bom, resumindo: gostei muito dele. Então eu resolvi usar o marrom como base do look e trabalhei com o vermelho como pontos de cor nos acessórios.
Bom agora, meus grandes pedidos do dia são bebidas quentes, tipo chocolate quente, café, cappuccinos e o delicioso Caramelo Machiatto que eu bebi ontem no Starbucks.

Lady in green

This past few days have been all about enjoying my vacation and going out with my friends to eat japanese food, go to Outback with best friend, to restaurants with other friends ( yeep, I love going out to eat hahah I think that eating good food is one of the pleasures of life ! ), going to the movies, to parks, to the mall, having a sleep over at my house, things like that you know. And I don’t know, sometimes I think I’m too eletric, everyday I wake up and start thinking what I’m going to do, I always feel like I need to go out and see people hahah Do you guys also feel like this when you are on vacation?
And the weirdest thing is that we were supposed to be in the colddest winter days and I was able to wear skirts without tights and no sleeves covering my arms.The bad part was the pouring rain that kept coming and going all day long and  made it hard to take this outfit pics.

 

Esses últimos dias tem sido tudo sobre aproveitar minhas férias e sair com amigos pra comer comida japonesa, ir no Outback com a minha melhor amiga, para restaurantes com outros amigos ( siim, eu adoro sair pra comer hahah Eu acho que comer comidas deliciosas são um dos prazeres da vida!), ir ao cinema , parques,  ao shopping , e ter um sleep over na minha casa, coisas assim sabe. E eu não sei, mas às vezes eu me acho muito elétrica, acordo todos os dias pensando o que eu vou fazer, eu sempre sinto que eu preciso sair e ver gente hahah Vocês também se sentem assim quando estão de férias?
E a coisa mais estranha é que nós deveríamos estar nos dias mais frios de inverno e eu consegui sair de saias sem meias e sem mangas para cobrir os meus braços. A parte ruim foi a chuva  que vinha e parava o dia todo e fez ser difícil de tirar fotos do look.

 

A hint of navy

Navy is probably one of the styles that never die, whenever happens a fashion week you can see an inspiration on the nautical universe, it can be on the swimwear collection or on the ready-to-wear fashion shows. The characteristcs attached to this style are the strings, gold studs, stripes and colours like white, red and navy blue.
I can’t say this outfit of mine can totally be framed in this field, but you can see a hint of navy just by looking at that oversized coat and as I like to play a lot with colours, I decided that this time blue would be the one this time, so I added it in different shades on different pieces of clothing.And as  “extras” make a remarkable distinction, I put a scarf ( really,imagine the outfit without this… it would be nothing) and just a big earring, nothing else sparkaling cuz the studs in the shorts already called a lot of attention.

O estilo navy é um daqueles que nunca morrem, sempre que acontece uma Fashion week você pode ver uma inspiração no universo náutico,  pode ser na coleção de roupas de banho ou mesmo nos desfiles ready-to-wear. As características relacionadas à esse estilo são as correntes, botões dourados, listras e cores como branco, vermelho e azul-marinho.
Eu não posso dizer que meu look se encaixa totalmente nesse padrão, mas você pode ver uma pitada de navy apenas pelo casaco oversized e como eu gosto de brincar muito com cores, eu decidi que o azul seria a da vez, então eu a adicionei em tons diferentes em diversas peças. E como os “extras” fazem uma diferença muito grande, adicionei um lenço ( sério, imaginem o look sem o lenço,seria tipo … um nada) e só um brinco grande, nada mais brilhando porque as tachinhas do shorts já chamavam muita atenção

The Brazilian Switzerland

A few days ago I went to one city that I really really love to go on the winter time (besides the coldness we face… I’m not a big fan of becoming a pinguim hahah): Campos do Jordão, which is known as the Brazilian Switzerland, I’ve never been to this country, but when you arrive in Campos you can already notice a really different scenery from what we see in Sao Paulo. You can feel an European breeze, I think that’s because of the architecture of the houses, the nature, and adding to this the extremely cold weather.
We arrived at the lunch time, so after eating at a delicious restaurant, we spent the day “discovering” the city and of course I took a large amount of pictures of the very cute houses, of Água das Pratas waterfall,well, of everything.
And ooh, almost forgot to mention! Me and Desi took the risks and went ice skating… of course we had some really big falls, we even have a thousand videos to remind us of each fall hahah Shame on us! And at the end of the day we had to had drink a hot chocolate as a reward for the falls and to keep us warm, cuz the temperature kept going down, down, down.

 

Há alguns dias atrás eu fui à uma das cidades que eu mais aaaamo  de verdade de ir no inverno ( apesar do frio que a gente enfrenta… não sou muito fã de virar um pinguim hahah ): Campos do Jordão, que é conhecida como a Suíça Brasileira, nunca fui pra esse país, mas quando você chega em campos, você nota um cenário bem diferente do que vê em São Paulo. Da pra sentir um arzinho europeu ,acho que é por causa da arquitetura das casas, da natureza  e adicionando a isso o frio de faz lá.
Nós chegamos na hora do almoço, e depois de comer em um restaurante delicioso,passamos o dia “descobrindo” a cidade e é claro que tirei um monte de fotos das casas fofinhas, da cachoeira Água das Pratas, enfim de tudo.
E aaah, quase esqueci de falar! Eu e a Desi, aceitamos os riscos e andamos de patins no gelo… é claro, tivemos umas quedas muuuito grande, temos vários vídeos  pra nos lembrar de cada uma, que vergonha! Ao fim do dia tivemos que tomar chocolate quente, como uma recompensa pelos tombos e também pra nos manter quente, porque a temperatura continuava caindo, caindo, caindo.

Take them out of the gym

Never thought I’d say this, but… Track pants, I want you so badly! Saw a bunch of them at Zara a few weeks ago when I was at the mall with my sister and I said ” Oh, Bru, look at this! ” with my eyes sparkling, and the response she gave me was ” You really want this gym pants? Daddy has loads of them in his closet” hahaha And yeah I want them, but I don’t regret of not buying one that day, now everything here is on sale, so it will probably be half of the price hoho You gotta be smart when it comes to shopping 😉
These track pants or joggers were mainly worn at home just to stay layed in the sofa or to go to the gym, but why not trying to take them out of this “ordinary place” and try to compose a sporty chic outfit? Now it’s even easier to compose an outfit with this style since the track pants are now in more sophisticated kind of fabrics, but you just gotta add a blazer, a more sophisticated top, sandals or heels and done!

 

Nunca achei que fosse dizer isso, mas… Track pants, quero muito comprar vocês! Eu vi um monte delas na Zara à algumas semanas atrás quando eu fui ao shopping com a minha irmã e eu disse “Aii, Bru, olha isso!” com os meus olhos brilhando, e a resposta que ela me deu foi ” Você realmente quer essas calças de ginástica? Papai tem várias no armário dele” hahahah E sim, eu quero elas, mas não me arrependo de não ter comprado uma naquele dia, agora tudo está na promoção, e  provavelmente elas devem estar pela metade do preço hoho 😉
Essas track pants ou joggers, eram muito usadas em casa, pra ficar jogado no sofá ou ir pra ginástica, mas por que não tentar tira-las do seu “lugar usual” e tentar compor um look sporty chic? Agora é ainda mais fácil de fazer um look nesse estilo, já que as calças começaram a ser fabricadas em tecidos mais sofisticados, mas você só deve adicionar a ele um blazer, uma camisa, sandálias ou saltos  e pronto!

 

Glimpse of fur in here

On Sunday I went to a classical music concert, well, at first I must admit I’m not a huuuge fan of classical music, I prefer going to a concert of singers like Beyoncé, Jessie J., Will.I.am and the best of them all, Bon Jovi, but that is okay, it was worth going, all because of the place that it happened: Sala São Paulo. I lo-lo-love the architecture of this place, it is super classic, with a French aspect added to it, but of course with Brazilian roots, so perfect!
We went there in the end of the afternoon and you could see the clock of Luz Station in the horizon, but when the concert ended, it was already at night and the place got even more magic, with some lights enlightening the scenery. If you are staying here in Sao Paulo for some days, this is definitely I spot you should go to 😉
For the occasion I chose something more daring: a fur vest , which is something that you can love or hate, specially here in Brazil that the winter is not that cold, but in my case, I love it!What about you, what do you think of wearing fur?
P.s.: it’s fake fur, I don’t like the idea of harming animals to produce a coat, they are too cute, to do this with them  !

No domingo eu fui à um concerto de música clássica, bom, primeiro eu devo admitir que não sou uma graaande fã desse tipo de música,  prefiro ir em shows de cantoras tipo a Beyoncé, Jessie J., Will.I.am e o melhor de todos, Bon Jovi, mas tudo bem, valeu a pena ir, tudo por causa do lugar em que ele aconteceu: na Sala São Paulo. Eu aaaamo a arquitetura desse lugar, é bem clássica, com um toque francês, mas é claro com raízes brasileiras,muito perfeito!
Nós fomos lá no fim da tarde e você podia ver o relógio da Estação da Luz no horizonte,mas quando o concerto terminou já era à noite e o lugar inteiro ficou ainda mais mágico, com algumas luzes iluminando o cenário em pontos específicos.Se você está ficando em São Paulo por alguns dias, é definitivamente um lugar que você deve ir 😉
Para a ocasião eu escolhi algo mais ousado: um colete de pelos, que é algo que ou você ama ou odeia, especialmente porque o inverno daqui do Brasil não é tão frio, mas no meu caso, eu amo! E vocês, o que acham de usar peles?
P.s.: é de pele falsa, não gosto da ideia de machucar animais pra fazer um casaco, eles são muito fofos pra fazer isso com eles!

Gold on the avenue

Do you, guys, have a piece of clothing that is like a life savior? You know, the one that you choose whenever you are in a hurry, or worse, when you don’t know what to wear? Well, I guess I found mine: this gold shirt ! I got it from Dylan at an event I went a couple of weeks ago and I already wore it for a couple of times.It adds a fashionable taste to everything you put it with,I guess it is because of the spikes it has on the collar and the way it looks on the body, it is so easy to wear!
And on Friday I had scheduled to go out in the morning with my girls, but I woke up kind of late, so of course, I went straightly to my “life savior” shirt and chose the first pants I saw hahaha It ended up being this one that I lo-lo-love!
Me and my girls went to Paulista avenue to make a “photoshoot”, we had so much fun doing that and the best part was the people in the street that kept staring at us and wondering what was that all about hahah

 

Vocês  tem uma peça de roupa que é tipo uma salvadora de vidas? Sabe, aquela que você escolhe sempre que está com pressa, ou pior, quando não sabe o que usar? Bom, acho que eu achei a minha: essa de tricô dourado! Eu comprei ela da Dylan em um evento que eu fui à umas semanas atrás e eu já a usei algumas vezes. Ela adiciona um toque fashion a tudo que você coloca junto, acho que é por causa dos spikes na gola e o jeito que ela fica no corpo, é muuuito fácil usá-la!
E na sexta eu tinha marcado  de sair com as minhas amigas de manhã, mas eu acordei meio tarde, então é claro que eu fui diretamente para a minha blusa salvadora e escolhi a primeira calça que vi na frente hahah.Acabou sendo essa que eu aaaamo!
Eu e as meninas fomos na avenida Paulista para fazer uma “sessão de fotos”,nós nos divertimos muito fazendo isso, mas o melhor são as pessoas que andavam na rua e ficavam olhando a gente e se perguntando o que era aquilo  hahah

Casually classic

Casual and classic. These are the two words that come to my mind when I look at this outfit, the classic part is because of the white and black that are the main colours of it and also because of the shoes I’m wearing.For me, there is nothing more classic than oxfords, and when it is a bushed calf leather this aspect is even more emphasized.
And what about the casual part? I always think that an outfit is casual when it is effortless to put all the pieces together and it brings you comfort . Well, I find wearing a skirt with tights the easiest thing in the world and the shoes are flats, so, immediate comfort. But let’s reveal something: those shoes are not mine, I took them borrowed from my cousin hihi And I’m totally in love with them!!

Casual e classic. Essas são as duas palavras que me vem a mente quando eu olho esse look, a parte clássica é por causa do preto e branco que são as cores principais do look e também por causa dos sapatos que estou usando. Pra mim, não há nada mais clássico do que oxfords, e quando eles são envernizados , esse aspecto é ainda mais enfatizado.
E sobre a parte casual? Eu sempre acho que uma roupa é casual, quando é fácil de colocar todas as peças juntas,  e o look todo te traz conforto. Bom, eu acho que usar saia com meias é a coisa mais fácil do mundo e os sapatos são sem salto, então, conforto imediato. Mas vamos revelar algo: esses sapatos não são meus, peguei emprestado da minha prima hihi Estou apaixonada por eles, isso sim!!

Embroidered white coat

This coat is so fabulous, isn’t it? I bought it on a sale, last February when it was still summer,  so it was on a perfect timing to save it to the winter days. I love the fact that it is white, which recently I’ve been finding it a really sophisticated colour ( specially when it’s a total white outfit), and also the embroidered details, that make it so unique. I wore it already a thousand time this past few days, putting it over a simple outfit, like jeans matched with a t-shirt to this one more chic, in which I’m mixing a floral skirt with a green top.
I wore it to go to best friend’s house and I have to tell one thing, it is impressive the amount of junk food we eat when we get together, we always gossip, gossip, gossip and eat, eat, eat, everythig in the same proportion hahah Something not so fashionable to tell, but let’s face it:  it’s true! I think that a lot of people worry about weight and stuff ( me so included on that),but once in a while it’s allowed to do these things, specially when you are in good company.You just have try in the other days to balance it with some healthy food (at least it is what I’m trying – emphasis on trying- to do hahah)

Esse casaco é tudo, não é? Eu o comprei em uma promoção, em fevereiro enquanto ainda era verão, então foi em um tempo perfeito pra guardar pros dias de inverno.Adoro o fato de ele ser branco,  a qual, ultimamente eu tenho achado uma cor tão sofisticada ( especialmente quando fazem um look total branco), e também os detalhes bordados que o fazem tão único. Eu o usei um milhão de vezes nos últimos dias, colocando ele por cima de um look simples, tipo jeans combinados com uma t-shirt até esse mais chic, no qual eu estou usando uma saia de florzinhas com uma blusa verde.
Eu usei esse look pra ir na casa da minha melhor amiga e eu preciso dizer uma coisa… é impressionante o tanto de besteiras que a gente come quando está juntas, a gente sempre fofoca,fofoca,fofoca e come,come,come, tudo na mesma proporção hahah Algo nada “fashion” de dizer, mas vamos encarar: é a verdade! Eu acho que muita gente se preocupa com o peso e essas coisas ( eu incluídissima nisso) , mas uma vez ou outra é permitido fazer essas coisas, especialmente em boa companhia. Você só tem que tentar balancear nos outros dias com uma comida mais saudável ( pelo menos é o que eu estou tentando – ênfase no tentando- fazer hahah).
