Lady in green

This past few days have been all about enjoying my vacation and going out with my friends to eat japanese food, go to Outback with best friend, to restaurants with other friends ( yeep, I love going out to eat hahah I think that eating good food is one of the pleasures of life ! ), going to the movies, to parks, to the mall, having a sleep over at my house, things like that you know. And I don’t know, sometimes I think I’m too eletric, everyday I wake up and start thinking what I’m going to do, I always feel like I need to go out and see people hahah Do you guys also feel like this when you are on vacation?
And the weirdest thing is that we were supposed to be in the colddest winter days and I was able to wear skirts without tights and no sleeves covering my arms.The bad part was the pouring rain that kept coming and going all day long and  made it hard to take this outfit pics.

 

Esses últimos dias tem sido tudo sobre aproveitar minhas férias e sair com amigos pra comer comida japonesa, ir no Outback com a minha melhor amiga, para restaurantes com outros amigos ( siim, eu adoro sair pra comer hahah Eu acho que comer comidas deliciosas são um dos prazeres da vida!), ir ao cinema , parques,  ao shopping , e ter um sleep over na minha casa, coisas assim sabe. E eu não sei, mas às vezes eu me acho muito elétrica, acordo todos os dias pensando o que eu vou fazer, eu sempre sinto que eu preciso sair e ver gente hahah Vocês também se sentem assim quando estão de férias?
E a coisa mais estranha é que nós deveríamos estar nos dias mais frios de inverno e eu consegui sair de saias sem meias e sem mangas para cobrir os meus braços. A parte ruim foi a chuva  que vinha e parava o dia todo e fez ser difícil de tirar fotos do look.

 

Embroidered white coat

This coat is so fabulous, isn’t it? I bought it on a sale, last February when it was still summer,  so it was on a perfect timing to save it to the winter days. I love the fact that it is white, which recently I’ve been finding it a really sophisticated colour ( specially when it’s a total white outfit), and also the embroidered details, that make it so unique. I wore it already a thousand time this past few days, putting it over a simple outfit, like jeans matched with a t-shirt to this one more chic, in which I’m mixing a floral skirt with a green top.
I wore it to go to best friend’s house and I have to tell one thing, it is impressive the amount of junk food we eat when we get together, we always gossip, gossip, gossip and eat, eat, eat, everythig in the same proportion hahah Something not so fashionable to tell, but let’s face it:  it’s true! I think that a lot of people worry about weight and stuff ( me so included on that),but once in a while it’s allowed to do these things, specially when you are in good company.You just have try in the other days to balance it with some healthy food (at least it is what I’m trying – emphasis on trying- to do hahah)

Esse casaco é tudo, não é? Eu o comprei em uma promoção, em fevereiro enquanto ainda era verão, então foi em um tempo perfeito pra guardar pros dias de inverno.Adoro o fato de ele ser branco,  a qual, ultimamente eu tenho achado uma cor tão sofisticada ( especialmente quando fazem um look total branco), e também os detalhes bordados que o fazem tão único. Eu o usei um milhão de vezes nos últimos dias, colocando ele por cima de um look simples, tipo jeans combinados com uma t-shirt até esse mais chic, no qual eu estou usando uma saia de florzinhas com uma blusa verde.
Eu usei esse look pra ir na casa da minha melhor amiga e eu preciso dizer uma coisa… é impressionante o tanto de besteiras que a gente come quando está juntas, a gente sempre fofoca,fofoca,fofoca e come,come,come, tudo na mesma proporção hahah Algo nada “fashion” de dizer, mas vamos encarar: é a verdade! Eu acho que muita gente se preocupa com o peso e essas coisas ( eu incluídissima nisso) , mas uma vez ou outra é permitido fazer essas coisas, especialmente em boa companhia. Você só tem que tentar balancear nos outros dias com uma comida mais saudável ( pelo menos é o que eu estou tentando – ênfase no tentando- fazer hahah).

Repeat and twist

One thing I know for sure is that choosing clothes, your outfit, relies on the way you are feeling on the specific day, either if you feel like of going out more casual, sophisticated, romantic,in edgy rockish mood, well in the many different styles you can , and another thing I’m certain of, is that you can pic the same garments you already wore before and mix them in different ways, making your outfit look totally different.This is the case of the look of this post,it has been a while since wore that top, in which I went to a more sophisticated side, by wearing it with a floral  printed pants and  now it is with this cream pants which are my favourite ones, it simply goes well with every top, or t-shirt I wear, it’s like a chameleon clothing, that depending on what you wear it with , it changes the style changes, going from casual a more elaborated one. The way I’m wearing, would probably fit in a sporty-chic field and  if I had matched it with a olivecap, it’d be even more!
I wore this look on the holiday we had this week, on Wednesday, which was a really short one, but I actually had a really good and fun day, I went to watch Iron Man 3, which I was  feeling desperate to watch, this is one of the best super heroes saga hahah   and to end the day in a good way, what better than some Japanese food? And the best of all is that spent my day in good company, so it made me feel with all my energies loaded for this 2 more days I have of studies 🙂

Uma coisa que eu sei com certeza é que escolher as suas roupas, seu look, depende do jeito que você se sente naquele dia específico, se você se sente em sair mais casual, sofisticada, romântica, com uma pegada rocky, bom nos diferentes estilos que você pode, e mais , eu tenho certeza que você pode pegar peças que você já usou antes e mistura-las de diversas formas diferentes, fazendo seu look ficar totalmente diferente. O que é o caso do look desse post, já faz um tempinho que eu usei essa blusa, mas puxando ela pra um lado mais sofisticado e fashion ao usá-la com uma calça com estampa floral e agora ela está combinada com essa calça creme, que é a minha favorita, ela vai bem com qualquer blusa ou t-shirt que eu uso, é tipo uma peça camaleão, que dependendo do que você usa com , ela muda de estilo, indo do casual à um mais elaborado. O jeito que eu estou vestida, provelmente se encaixaria em lado mais sporty-chic e se combinado com um boné oliva, ia ser ainda mais!
Eu usei esse look no feriado que tivemos essa semana, na quarta, que foi um bem curto, mas eu tive um dia muito bom e divertido, fui assistir Homem de Ferro3 , que eu estava desesperada pra ver, essa é uma das melhores sagas de super heróis hahah e pra terminar o dia de um jeito bom, o que melhor que comida japonesa? E o melhor de tudo é que eu passei meu dia em boa companhia, então me senti renovada para os 2 dias de estudos que eu ainda tenho 🙂

Caught by black’n white

It is said that skirts,a piece of clothing born in the 90’s, is back on track, in all of its shapes, and from mini to midi length, and specially the mini one, will be seen a lot in the stores outside Brazil during the summer 2013,but also in the our winter. For me this is just another excuse to wear the garment I love, skirts and dresses are my passion ( I think you might have noticed) they are so feminine! I like wearing them in hot days, cold ones, everytime I can , some of my friends even asked if I don’t my legs don’t feel cold hahaha But one other trend that really caught me was the one of wearing black and white, I wanted so badly to wear an look like that and when I bought this skirt, I knew I had to do one with it. The best thing of my  skirt is that it has some spikes and the cut is so beautiful,  I combined it with a white top that has like a pocket on the chest with leather and in the back it is lace, all of this details in black,tell me if this wasn’t the perfect top to do my B&W look?! Well, the elegance was achieved with other pieces, such as my heels and the handbag, one of my favourite ones, the material it is done and the shape for themselves, already can give another touch to the outfits worn with it.
This is what I wore on Saturday night ( I gave you a previa of it on facebook here ) to celebrate a friend’s birthday, at a pizzeria with friends from my old school, I was so afraid of loosing contact with them, but sometimes I think that this fear bonds  us even more, it is so good to see them and tell everything about our new daily life, what happens in each one of our colleges and everything. It is such a different routine we are having right now, that in the begging it was hard to accept it!

É dito que saias, uma peça de roupa nascida nos anos 90, esta de volta, em todos os seus cortes, desde o comprimento mini para o midi,e especialmente o mini, será muito visto nas lojas fora do Brasil durante o verão 2013 , mas também no nosso inverno. Para mim isso é só mais uma desculpa para usar essa peça que eu amo, saias e vestidos são minha paixão ( eu acho que vocês já repararam), eles são tão femininos!Eu gosto de usá-los em dias quentes, nos frios, sempre que eu posso, alguns amigos até me perguntaram se minhas pernas não sentem frio hahah Mas uma tendência que realmente me pegou é aquela de usar preto e branco, eu queria tanto usar um look assim e quando eu comprei essa saia, sabia que eu tinha que fazer um com ela. O melhor dessa saia é que ela tem alguns spikes e o corte é lindo,eu a combine com uma blusa branca,  que tem um bolsinho no busto com couro e as costas são de renda, todos esses detalhes em preto, me digam se essa não era a blusa perfeita para fazer meu look P&B?! Bom , a elegância foi conseguida com as outras peças como os sapatos e a bolsa, uma das minhas favoritas, o material que ela é feita e seu formato, por si só já conseguem dar outro toque aos looks usados com ela.
Foi isso que eu usei no sabádo à noite( dei uma prévia disso no face aqui) para ir celebrar o aniversário da minha amiga, em uma pizzaria com amigos do meu antigo colégio, eu estava com tanto medo de perder o contato com eles, mas às vezes eu acho que esse medo nos juntou ainda mais, é tão bom vê-loes e contar tudo do nosso dia a dia, o que acontece em cada uma das nossas faculs e tudo mais. É uma rotina tão diferente que estamos tendo agora, que no começo foi difícil de aceitar!

Inspiration: street-chic

Sport and chic are normally two words that don’t match in the same phrase, well, it was what I used to think.

Esporte e chic são normalmente duas palavras que não combinam na mesma frase, bom, era o que eu pensava.

This was actually one of the first outfits I saw combining both styles: sport and chic.The cap and the comic sweater are there creating an sporty outfit, but when matched with the clutch, that otherwise has a drawing inspired in comics, it is still formal by its own concept and when added the black sandals, the informality of the look is broken.

Esse na verdade foi um dos primeiros looks que eu vi combinando os dois estilos: esporte e chic.O boné e o suéter cômico estão aí criando um visual mais street, mas ao combiná-los com uma bolsa carteira, que por mais que tenha esse desenho inspirado nos quadrinhos, não deixa de ser formal pelo seu próprio conceito e ainda quando adicionada essa sandália preta, toda a informalidade do look foi quebrada.

This one it is the reverse idea of the last, if the jacket is taken off, you have a totally chic outfit. But when it is worn, the look becomes more original, and the girlie aspect is enhanced to it with the lace fabric that the jacket is done.

Esse é a ideia inversa do outro, se a jaqueta for tirada, você tem um look totalmente chic. Mas ao usar ela , o look fica mais original e ainda o aspecto girlie é aumentado pelo tecido de renda que a jaqueta é feita.

An example of how a simple thing can make whole a look,if  you only change the shoes the elegancy of is taken off.

Um exemplo de como uma única coisa pode fazer um look inteir, se você  mudar somente os sapatos a elegância é tirada.

These two are very similar, they are both with high heels and black dress, which gives the chic side of it, add to your outfit a juimpsuit and a cap, like this the sporty touch will be given. Simple formula, but makes the look unique.

Esses dois são bem similares, eles são ambos com sapatos de salto alto e vestidos pretos, o que dá o lado chique, adicione ao seu visual uma jaqueta e um boné, desse modo o toque esporte será dado. Fórmula simples, mas que faz o look único.
